Task Description: Today I made a awesome slide deck of my version of Maui and the sun but there in Te Reo Maori.I like this task because it's cool and awesome to make and it's all about  myths and legends.I learned that maui is an awesome legend and myth from stories around the world of New Zealand.

It’s Shannon here from the Summer Learning Journey

It was wonderful to read how much you enjoyed this activity Sinaenah. Aren’t we lucky to have activities in te reo included this year? You put a lot of thought and effort into your poem and I could just imagine a small Maui stopping a HUGE sun. I really liked how you said Maui was a legend because that can be taken two ways. He is a legend, as in a hero, because he stopped the sun, and secondly his story is a legend or a myth.

I wonder if you could have added some illustrations to your poem? You could have drawn some on Google Draw and added them in, or maybe used the Explore tool?

    Keep up the great blogging

    Ka kite anō,
