How to be a good host

Welcome your visitors into your home.Being a host is like when people come and knock your door just to make sure to introduce them into your home. Then I will say like Hello?or you are welcome to be in here?or it is lovely to meet you into our house.

Now that they are sitting down. Offer them something to drink and eat. If they say they don’t want to leave it on the table for them to eat or drink after. When it is the time to be having a big meal offer them to the table. In my culture we say faamolemole sau i luga o le laulau ma ‘ai. 

After you have aten with your visitors sit down with them and talk about something or watch tv. When it is silent try and keep the conversation going and keep them in touch with you or maybe talk about how their day was and what they did today or talk about church and stuff. But just keep the conversation going. 

When they are about to leave still keep them in touch. But when they are about to go then let them go. In our culture it is respect for to give them something before they are about to leave from your house and always say goodbye to them. 

Have you had visited to your house? Yes I have, I’m going to explain how you can be a good host in my next paragraph. My book is harry potter and I got it from the library so I could read at home




Harry arrives at The Burrow The Weasley's home in a dizzy state from traveling by Floo powder.When he was finish he went to his eldest family to introduced himself to everyone. Charlie, who works with dragons in Romania, and Bill that works at Gringotts bank in Egypt. In there house they found a portkey that leads to door where ghosts are at is eldest family’s house.







My prediction is that he will get the portkey and open the door that leads to ghosts.

I went to the library and got out a Harry Potter book to read.

Harry Potter goes inside the riddle house to find three riddles. These three riddles will lead him to a treasure box that he is looking for.

My prediction is he will find the treasure box in castle.


Week 4

Harry Potter finds all three riddles in the riddle house. He still hasn't found the treasure but the three riddles is helping him get closer to finding it.

My prediction is that he will find it with the help of his three riddles

My family hero is my mum because she always help me my grandparents and siblings and the first one to show how it’s done.My mum as technique strength and also strong.My mum is my hero because she is a loving person that a ever had in my life also she never gives up doing stuff for my grandparents and me and my siblings too.When she looks at me in to my eyes she always smiles talk about when we go home you do your homework every time.She is thankful and amazing and beautiful in to my eyes as well.Her strength is beautiful loving and lovey as a hero like her.

Hello,Welcome to my blog Today my reading group is call Patricia Grace but her really name is called Patricia Frances Gunson and she is a Maori novelist,born in wellington the capital city of New Zealand in 1937. She has taught a primary and secondary schools.Written at Victoria University in Wellington in 1985. Now in 1995 she is a full time writer,she lives at the ancestral land of her people of Ngati Toa.







The Moon Sleeps and Potiki, which won the fiction section of the New Zealand Book Awards as well as the Literaturpreis in Frankfurt. She has also written four short story collections.Dogside Story, published this month by The Women's Press in UK.






She is also born on August the 17th in 1937 She is also a New Zealand writer who was a figure in the rise and a development of Maori fiction too.Born to a Maori father.

Today on the fourth of february in 2020 I read a story called sam the stolen puppy by Holly Webb.







Sam, a golden Labrador puppy, is Emily's best present ever! Then one day Sam is stolen from the back garden. Emily is sure there's something was going on and she'll do whatever it takes to find her beloved pup.So she went to the police to tell him some questions about is dog but the police haven’t seen this pup before so he said that this is a prole I don’t know this puppy before so emily went to her mum to cuddle her because he didn’t see it in two days.The next day they went to put signs everywhere and when there were back home they were at the back of the garden the puppy was back home again so then emily went to sam cuddle him.


I prediction that she is going to buy a box so the dog doesn't go away again.
